2. Hosting

To ensure the availability and performance of the service, HelloBible uses the following infrastructure:

Cloud Hosting: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Supabase.
Backend Services & Notifications: Google Firebase (Real-time database and authentication) and OneSignal (Push notifications).

3. Access and Availability

Access to the Application and the Site is provided free of charge (excluding any paid options). HelloBible reserves the right, without notice or compensation, to temporarily or permanently close all or part of the service to perform updates or maintenance operations.

4. Intellectual Property and Terms of Use

Use of the service is governed by these terms. By downloading the Application or browsing the Site, you accept these terms.

All content (texts, logos, interfaces, AI algorithms) is the exclusive property of SAS HelloBox. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

Content: Although HelloBible strives to provide accurate information, errors or omissions may occur. Users are invited to report any malfunction to contact@hellobible.ai.

AI Usage: The HelloBible chatbot uses advanced language models to interpret biblical texts. Although we do our best to ensure the relevance of responses:

• The AI may sometimes generate inaccurate information or erroneous interpretations.
• AI responses do not constitute official theological advice but a study assistance tool.
• HelloBible cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a misinterpretation of responses provided by the AI.

Downloads: All downloaded content is at the user's own risk. HelloBible cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damage caused to the user's device (smartphone, tablet, computer).

6. Data Collection and Third-Party Tools

To improve user experience, performance analysis and marketing management, the Application integrates third-party solutions that may collect data (advertising identifiers, browsing data, in-app events):

Analytics and Behavior: Google Analytics, Mixpanel (journey analysis), Appsflyer (advertising attribution).
Advertising and Marketing: Meta (Facebook Pixel/SDK), Google Ads.

Note: Users can opt out of advertising tracking via their operating system settings (iOS/Android) or via the consent banner at application launch.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Financial transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) payment systems. RevenueCat acts as a technical subcontractor to validate access rights to paid content. No banking details are stored directly by SAS HelloBox.

8. Data Processing by Artificial Intelligence (Apple Requirement)

To provide its interactive biblical chat service, HelloBible uses third-party artificial intelligence technology.

Technology Partner: User requests are processed via the API of OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., 3180 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States).

Nature of transmitted data: Only the content of messages (prompts) entered by the user in the chat interface is transmitted to OpenAI.

Purpose: This transfer is strictly necessary for generating Bible-based text responses.

Consent: By using the chat module for the first time, the user gives explicit consent to the technical transfer of their questions to the OpenAI API. This consent can be withdrawn at any time by ceasing to use the chat module or by deleting their account.

9. Personal Data Protection (GDPR & CNIL)

In accordance with the GDPR and the French "Informatique et Libertés" law, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data.

Collection: Data is collected for the proper functioning of the service and personalization of the experience.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
