At HelloBible, privacy is essential. Questions put to a biblical assistant can touch on faith, personal life and sensitive matters. Our aim is to use only the information that helps us understand you better and give you more relevant answers, while leaving you in control. Below we explain which data is used, why, with which technical providers, and how to exercise your rights.

To make answers more relevant and to avoid asking you the same questions over and over, HelloBible may build a personalised profile from the information you choose to share when signing up and during your conversations. This profile may take into account your level of biblical knowledge, your relationship with Bible reading, your religious or spiritual sensibility, certain preferences, your relationship with God, your spiritual expectations, your state of mind or difficulties you choose to share. This profile is used solely to adapt the level, context and relevance of answers and to provide better continuity between your conversations; it is not used to build an advertising profile.
Based on the information you have declared and on certain elements of your conversations, HelloBible may enrich this profile with a summary intended to recover the context useful to future conversations. These elements are automated inferences: they may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as established facts about you. You may ask to view, correct or delete the elements of this profile and summary.
Important. Conversations with HelloBible may reveal religious or spiritual beliefs. If you choose to discuss them, they may also contain information about your health or other sensitive aspects of your life.
Such data benefits from reinforced protection. Where its processing relies on your consent, HelloBible obtains explicit consent for the purposes concerned.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. The content of your conversations, your spiritual profile and your religious beliefs are never passed on to advertisers or used to target you with advertising. Certain technical and usage data may be processed by our measurement, attribution or operational providers where necessary and, where the regulations require it, with your consent.
HelloBible relies on several technical providers in order to generate the assistant’s answers.
Gloo is currently used as a technical artificial intelligence router. Depending on the feature, availability, service configuration or the model selected, Gloo may route a request to OpenAI or to other artificial intelligence providers or models.
Gloo acts as a technical router between HelloBible and the various artificial intelligence models used; it is not the storage base for HelloBible’s profile or conversations. According to Gloo AI Studio’s public documentation, requests are processed on a secure, encrypted infrastructure, are not shared between organisations and are not used to train the models.

HelloBible applies a principle of minimisation: only the information useful to the answer and to the operation of the feature concerned should be transmitted. The aim is to keep personalisation within HelloBible and to share with AI providers only the context necessary to process the request.
Answers are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions or debatable interpretations. Artificial intelligence does not speak on behalf of God and is not an infallible spiritual authority.
Where personalisation is used, HelloBible may keep a profile and a summary of certain conversations, and index conversation fragments, in order to retrieve useful context more easily. This makes it possible, among other things, to adapt the depth of answers, to take account of preferences already expressed and to avoid starting each conversation without context.
This information serves only to make answers more consistent with and relevant to your previous conversations. It is not sold, is not used for advertising targeting, and you may request access to it, its correction or its deletion.
A former semantic search mechanism is currently being withdrawn. Until its deletion is fully automated together with that of the main account, the corresponding data can be deleted manually on request to contact@hellobible.app.
To provide the service, HelloBible uses technical providers for hosting, artificial intelligence, usage analysis, marketing attribution, notifications, subscriptions, e-mails and technical diagnostics. Using these providers is not a sale of data: it corresponds to the technical processing necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
The list of providers may change. Where a change substantially alters the processing of your data or requires fresh consent, we update the corresponding information.
HelloBible uses certain tools in order to understand how the application is used, to improve the service and to measure the effectiveness of its campaigns. The text content of your conversations, the summaries of your conversations and your spiritual profile are not passed on to analytics, attribution or advertising tools. Usage data and technical identifiers may be processed by these tools for the purposes described in this policy and according to your consent choices.
Where the regulations require your consent for a measurement or attribution tool or for an advertising identifier, that consent must be obtained before the processing concerned is activated.
You can change your privacy choices using the options available in the application and, failing that, by contacting contact@hellobible.app.
The hellobible.ai website uses cookies or similar technologies necessary for its operation. Where the regulations require it, non-essential cookies and trackers, in particular for audience measurement or marketing, are only activated after you agree.
You can accept or refuse non-essential trackers and change your choices later through the website’s cookie manager.
Some providers may be established in, or process data outside, the European Union, in particular in the United States.
Where necessary, such transfers are governed by a mechanism recognised by the GDPR, for example an adequacy decision applicable to the recipient concerned or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, accompanied where necessary by additional safeguards.
You can request further information about the safeguards applicable to a transfer concerning you at contact@hellobible.app.
Depending on the processing concerned, you have in particular the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where the conditions are met.
You may also withdraw your consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for the processing. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal.

Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Until all settings are available directly in the application, you can exercise this choice by writing to contact@hellobible.app.
Withdrawing certain consents may prevent some features from working where those features technically require the processing concerned.
HelloBible may be used by minors in compliance with the applicable rules. In France, where processing in an online service relies on consent, a minor may in principle consent alone from the age of 15. Below the age of 15, where consent is required, the joint authorisation of the minor and of at least one holder of parental authority may be necessary.
HelloBible endeavours to provide minors with clear, appropriate information and to limit optional processing that is not necessary to the service.
HelloBible implements technical and organisational measures designed to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Internal access is limited to the people who need it in order to ensure operation, security, support or compliance with legal obligations.
HelloBible creates and uses a personalised profile in order to make answers more relevant, based on the information you choose to share and on certain useful elements of your conversations. This profile is used to personalise the service, not to build an advertising profile. This personalisation does not, on its own, produce an automated decision having a legal effect or a similarly significant effect on you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
We may update this policy in order to reflect changes to HelloBible, to our providers or to the regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
Where a change substantially alters processing based on your consent, we will inform you and obtain fresh consent where necessary.
